Fad or no?

Social media has been around for a long time. Starting with the telephone and communicating that way, to the Internet with all the social networking site, it has expanded a lot. Without it, we wouldn't be the world we are today. I do not believe social media is a fad because the world changes and evolves in many ways. Technology and social media has to keep up with all the changes that are happening so people can keep in contact with others from different parts of the world. With the use of all the social networking sites, we can find out what’s happening around the world, almost as it’s happening. A lot of relief programs are put in place for places that have major destructions and donations can be made by anyone over social media sites. If we didn’t know what was going on in the world, people wouldn’t know and couldn’t make immediate action to help. A lot of jobs also depend on social media and communicating to people through internet. It is no longer hard to find people, places, things that you want because of the easy access of the internet. Over time, technology is going to advance more and it’s going to be even easier for people, as we as people get lazier to do things for ourselves. Many people meet others online, talk to loved ones and friends online and do business with others online. Now, you can even pay bills online. No one needs to even leave their own comfort of their homes to do anything because you can access anything online.
